Description

The CD5005 player integrates everything its predecessor, the CD5004, offered, including Marantz's proprietary HDAM-SA2 technology. In addition, the new CD5005 features a new CS4398 DAC and a new CD transport – derived from the larger CD6005 model. This new player plays CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs, as well as MP3 and WMA files. It includes custom-designed components for sound optimization and an extra-reliable CD transport. The modalità Audio EX (clusive) further enhances sound quality by turning off functions such as digital output and pitch control when these features are not in use. The shuffle function gives you another chance to explore music in a new way. Also new this year is a new updated remote control, as well as the low-power standby function and the modaliautomatic standby mode. High-quality, gold-plated analog outputs ensure better connectivity, while a dedicated headphone output and an easy-to-read display complete the features of this excellent player.
