The Gen2 Obsidian FMT XT tweeter has been upgraded with a larger motor to provide greater output and lower distortion. The FMT XT offers the most detailed and effortless sound in the Motion range with a 40% increase in surface area compared to our signature FMT. Outside of our legendary electrostatic speakers, these new tweeters deliver our cleanest, most detailed and accurate high-frequency presentation to date.
Folded Motion® Waveguide
After extensive evaluation of nearly 50 design options, the Folded Motion® waveguide shape was carefully chosen to harmoniously align with the dispersion pattern of the midrange drivers, increasing output. The waveguide ensures consistent sound quality regardless of the listener's position and minimizes unwanted room reflections. Proper waveguide design is essential as it helps control the dispersion pattern of the sound, ensuring that the sound is evenly distributed throughout the listening area and achieving optimal sound quality.
FAST Outrigger Feet
The Motion® range of tower models are designed with tool-free height adjustment using the included rubber feet or pegs, allowing the user to easily level the speaker for optimal stability on any floor. Additionally, built-in anti-vibration properties reduce energy transfer from the speaker to the floor, reducing distortion and coloration and providing more accurate and detailed sound.

Anatomy of a Tower: What Makes a Speaker Unique
A floorstanding speaker is built to stand alone, without the need for external supports. Its height—often between 80 and 120 centimeters—allows it to house multiple separate drivers: a tweeter for highs, a midrange driver for midrange, and one or more woofers for bass. This multi-way configuration offers more granular control over different portions of the sound spectrum.
If the product is available for immediate delivery at the store (as indicated in the "Availability" section), it will be handed over to the courier the same day or the day after payment is received, with tracking sent via email. If the product is in stock at the supplier (also in Italy), it will typically be shipped within 2-3 business days of ordering and delivered directly to your home, again with tracking via email. Standard courier processing times must be added to these times (24-48 hours for mainland Italy, a few more days for islands). For international shipments, delivery times vary depending on the destination country.
