Grand Mezza 2012 Opera Grand Mezza 2012 is not an ???entry level??? speaker nor an ???economic??? speaker. The aim is to provide a quality speaker suitable for normal domestic use conditions, i.e. in small rooms and with medium-power amplifiers (starting from 10-12 Watt RMS tube amplifiers). Obviously this does not prevent the use Opera Grand Mezza 2012 even in larger environments and with powerful amplifiers (up to over 200 Watts RMS per channel) as long as they are of good quality and kept away from clipping conditions. Opera The 2012 Grand Mezza has been profoundly revamped compared to the previous 2007 model. It is a three-way floorstanding column system with a reflex-loaded bass section. It is equipped with two 5-inch long-throw Seas polypropylene woofers for the bass, a 5-inch Seas treated paper midrange driver, and the same Scanspeak tweeter used for the 2011 Quinta and Seconda models. The Grand Mezza is a nominal 4-inch speaker. Opera Grand Mezza 2012 is a complete and eclectic speaker suitable for the most demanding musical genres and can be used to create refined Home Theatre systems.
