The final stage works in push-pull pentode with a pair of KT88 per channel, replaceable with 6550. At the input there is a double triode 12AX7 (ECC83), while a 12BH7 plays the role of inverter faseThe result is a dynamic and detailed sound, with a full midrange and a more controlled bass than you would expect from a hi-fi valve amplifier.
Operational silence is achieved on several fronts. All signal tubes have their filaments powered by stabilized DC , a solution that reduces hum to almost imperceptible levels. The high-quality ferrosilicon output transformers are attached to a very rigid frame, which limits the vibrations transmitted to the tubes.
Which tube amplifier should you choose for a system with multiple analog sources? Roma The 510AC offers five RCA line inputs, enough for a CD player, streamer, external DAC and separate phono preamp. The output pre-out It tracks the volume and allows you to connect an active subwoofer or a second power amplifier. Volume, mute, and input selection are controlled using the included remote control.
This is a line-only integrated amp: it doesn't have a phono input or the balanced XLR inputs found on the Signature version. Vinyl listeners will therefore need an external phono preamp.

What is a DAC and why does it exist?
DAC stands for Digital-to-Analog Converter. Its job is to transform the bits of a music file (the zeros and ones of the digital world) into an analog electrical signal that the amplifier can amplify and the speakers can reproduce.
