Lo stadio di uscita impiega 20 transistor bipolari Sanken, 10 per canale, alimentati da un banco di condensatori da 440.000 µF affiancati da condensatori in polipropilene. La configurazione è dual mono: un unico trasformatore toroidale schermato da 1.350 VA ha avvolgimenti distinti per il canale sinistro e il destro, lo stadio driver ha un'alimentazione propria, separata da quella dello stadio finale, e un ulteriore trasformatore serve soltanto display e circuiti di controllo. Niente global negative feedback, accoppiamento a DC servo e cablaggio interno ridotto al minimo.
Bastano 50 W in Classe A per diffusori da pavimento? I watt dichiarati da Gryphon sono prudenziali e raddoppiano a ogni dimezzamento dell'impedenza; il costruttore lo indica stabile con qualsiasi carico. In posizione Bias High lavora sempre in Class A piena, in Bias Low passa alla Classe A/B e consuma meno; con un preamplificatore Gryphon il Green Bias sceglie la modalità in automatico in base al volume. A riposo, in High, assorbe circa 350 W.
La protezione non tocca il percorso del segnale: confronta continuamente uscita e ingresso e, se la differenza supera i limiti, silenzia il finale e lo mette in standby; oltre 90 °C sui dissipatori si spegne e riparte quando la temperatura torna normale. Sul frontale una barra LED RGB può restare blu, mostrare lo stato del bias o spegnersi del tutto per gli ascolti al buio.

Impedance: The load the speakers present to the amplifier
Impedance is measured in ohms (Ω) and indicates the electrical resistance that a speaker oppoto the signal coming from the amplifier. The most common values are 4, 6, and 8 ohms. The lower the impedance, the more current the amplifier must deliver to achieve the same volume. Why is this important? Because an amplifier designed for 8-ohm loads might struggle—or even go into protection—with 4-ohm speakers, especially
