PM 5005

This new addition to the Marantz collection is an excellent entry-level integrated amplifier that breaks all the rules. That's because it's the first in its class to offer Current Feedback architecture, a feature usually reserved for more expensive models. This technology offers very fast and accurate signal handling, enabling perfectly balanced stereo reproduction as well as a very precise and spacious soundstage. It's also recently been upgraded with discrete audio circuitry to optimize performance with a refined selection of components. Furthermore, this year's model looks more elegant than last year's model, thanks to the sleek new knob design. Additionally, we're offering a new remote control and new models.daliautomatic standby and low-power standby. But, getting back to the essence of the amplifier, the PM5005 offers 40W per channel into 8 ohms or 55W into 4 ohms and includes a chassis and front panel made of metal to ensure a very rigid and solid base. In addition, it also features a MM phono equalizer and Source Direct functionality to ensure shorter signal paths. Without a doubt, the PM5005 has raised the performance bar in the so-called entry-level range. Great sound. Incredible versatility.

PM 6006

The PM6006 is a further upgrade of the award-winning PM6005. Naturally, we used only discrete components in the preamp and power sections – not a single integrated circuit was used in the signal path.
PM6006 has been improved as the peak current value of the amplifier stage, to allow you to refine the sound in much more detail. You can connect a wide range of digital sources directly to this extraordinary integrated amplifier, to use its high-performance CS4398 24bit / 192kHz, high-current DAC, for incredible high-level audio performance with new media.
Additionally, the amplifier now features two optical inputs and one coaxial digital input (an additional optical input compared to the previous model, the PM6005). The entire digital section is fully protected by an additional metal casing to ensure that the digital stage does not influence the analog signal. Naturally, all the original features are still present, such as five line level audio inputs and one phono input, two pairs of gold-plated speaker terminals with bi-wiring capability, and a remote control.
The low-impedance shielded toroidal transformer, custom components and exclusive Marantz HDAM modules ensure the powerful, dynamic and detailed original Marantz sound.

PM8006

Marantz has launched the PM8006 stereo amplifier, the successor to the previous PM8005. The product comes with the now classic Marantz design. Inside we find an amplification section capable of delivering 70W into 8 Ohms, while power is supplied by a double-shielded toroidal transformer. The interior of the chassis also houses HDAM-SA3 (Hyper-Dynamic Amplifier Modules) modules. Current Feedback technology is also used.

One of the peculiarities of the PM8006 consists in the presence of a new phono stage called Marantz Musical Phono EQ stage. The changes introduced include a simplified signal path and two-stage amplification, capable of minimizing distortion. The re-equalization process is divided into a passive and an active section. Finally, Marantz has also optimized the electronic volume control.

Available connections include a MM (Moving Magnet) phono input, five inputs with an analog output on RCA, a power amp direct input, a pre out and connectors for connecting two pairs of speakers.
