It is a two-chassis preamplifier that also functions as a headphone amplifier, totally powered by a pair of batteries.
The designer rightly thought of including a pair of batteries, so as to be able to draw energy from one while charging the other. This allows this preamp to be continuously operated completely disconnected from the mains.
The preamp is truly minimal, only one RCA input and one output and the connection for headphones at the back.
Ul body is built with a front panel of black plexiglass with a volume knob placed in the center and the rest of the frame in very thick steel and the power section also built in thick steel with a small tool to check the battery charge
