Jeff Rowland

Jeff Rowland Design Group is an American audio electronics company founded in 1984 by Jeff Rowland, who still serves as its president and designer. Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, it designs and builds power amplifiers, line and phono preamplifiers, integrated amplifiers, and D/A converters. The brand's historic models include the Model 7 power amplifiers and battery-powered power supplies.

Rowland electronics share common traits: chassis milled from solid blocks of aircraft-grade aluminum, diamond-tipped faceplates, balanced circuitry, transformer-coupled inputs to eliminate ground loops, surface-mount components, and 0,1% thin-film resistors. Amplifiers use highly efficient switching power supplies, often with power factor correction.

The current range includes the Capri S2-SC preamplifier, available with built-in phono cards, and the Conductor phono preamplifier, configurable with up to four inputs; the Model 125 and Model 555 stereo power amplifiers, both of which can also be used in mono; the Daemon integrated amplifier, with D/A converter, headphone output and touch screen display; and the Aeris DAC, developed with Danish company Holm Acoustics.
