Description

The Klipsch RP-5000F II represents the evolution of the acclaimed Reference Premiere series, offering a superior audio experience for the most discerning audiophile. This 2-way, bass-reflex floorstanding speaker integrates innovative technologies such as a 1-inch titanium diaphragm Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) tweeter and dual 5,25-inch Cerametallic woofers, completely redesigned to ensure excellent performance with minimal distortion. The compression-molded silicone Hybrid Cross-Section Expanded Tractrix Horn 90° x 90° horn loading system offers a larger soundstage and more accurate stereo imaging, while the vented tweeter design eliminates unwanted standing waves for crystal-clear high-frequency reproduction.

Cabinet construction with additional bracing and internal volume division ensures effective cancellation of resonances and vibrations, while dual Tractrix reflex ports in separate chambers optimize air transfer for cleaner, more powerful bass. The speaker supports bi-wiring and bi-amping thanks to dual audiophile-grade terminals, allowing the high- and low-frequency currents to be separated for a clearer midrange. With a sensitivity of 95 dB and the ability to handle up to 400 watts peak , the RP-5000F II is perfectly suited to any hi-fi setup, from stereo listening to multi-channel home theater systems.

The company positions itself in the premium segment of the audio market, offering solutions for discerning audiophiles and high-fidelity enthusiasts seeking superior sound performance and innovative technologies.
Klipsch's corporate philosophy is based on the fundamental principles established by its founder: maximum efficiency, minimum distortion, and controlled directional control. Paul Klipsch, an engineer and acoustic pioneer, developed the first prototypes in his home in Hope, Arkansas, with the goal of creating loudspeakers capable of reproducing live sound with absolute fidelity. missionThe company's motto has remained unchanged for over seventy years: "The sound closest to the original." This dedication to sonic purity has made Klipsch one of the most respected brands in the world of high fidelity, with a solid reputation among the most discerning audiophiles. The company combines traditional American craftsmanship with ongoing technological innovation, maintaining production of some flagship models in the United States while constantly investing in research and development to perfect its audio solutions.
Klipsch's signature technologies include the renowned Tractrix Horn Technology, a patented horn system that ensures uniform dispersion and reduced distortion. Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) optimizes transducer movement for more precise response, while Cerametallic technology represents the evolution of high-performance composite woofer cones. Injection Molded Graphite (IMG) characterizes the Reference Series tweeters, offering superior detail and dynamics. These proprietary innovations distinguish Klipsch products in the global high-fidelity landscape.
The Klipsch product line ranges from the Heritage Series floorstanding speakers, which retain their original vintage design, to the modern Reference Premiere bookshelf speakers. Klipsch's transistor integrated amplifiers are characterized by high power and precise control, ideal for effectively driving the company's loudspeakers. The tube integrated amplifier category offers solutions for lovers of warmer, more immersive analog sound.
The Heritage Series represents absolute excellence with iconic models such as the Klipsch Cornwall IV and Heresy IV, floorstanding speakers that use updated original horn technology. The Reference Premiere line includes floorstanding and bookshelf speakers with Cerametallic drivers and LTS tweeters, perfect for high-end stereo systems. The RP Series offers more affordable solutions while maintaining high technical performance. For source materials, Klipsch offers high-quality CD SACD DVD players and partnerships with specialized turntable manufacturers to complete the ideal stereo system.
International accolades confirm Klipsch's excellence: numerous awards from the American and European audio press, and rave reviews in magazines such as Stereophile, What Hi-Fi, and Sound & Vision. The Heritage speakers have received design accolades from the industry press, while the Reference Premiere models consistently receive recognition for their value in the premium segment.
Klipsch's target audience includes experienced audiophiles, live music enthusiasts, and audio professionals who seek dynamics, efficiency, and fidelity in sound reproduction. The price range extends from entry-level models around €500 to the flagship Heritage models costing over €10.000 per pair, covering a wide range of budgets without compromising the brand's signature sound quality.

Floorstanding or bookshelf speakers: a guide to choosing

Imposing tower or compact bookshelf? It's the question every enthusiast asks at least once, and the answer is never obvious. The choice between floorstanding and bookshelf speakers depends on more than just budget or space...

Anatomy of a Tower: What Makes a Speaker Unique

A floorstanding speaker is built to stand alone, without the need for external supports. Its height—often between 80 and 120 centimeters—allows it to house multiple separate drivers: a tweeter for highs, a midrange driver for midrange, and one or more woofers for bass. This multi-way configuration offers more granular control over different portions of the sound spectrum.

I am an old audiophile, on a break for years, then one day I find myself in a friend's studio and bang the monkey wakes up, thanks to some old Klipsh, I don't remember the model, the fact is that I built myself a "modern" system Yamaha RN 600 and Klipsh RP 5000 II, for size reasons I bought the 5000 instead of the 8000, but I must say that I am very satisfied, very beautiful aesthetically, I even made my wife digest them ha ha, listening to them never tires me for entire afternoons without ever having any suffering, the bass is never annoying, the voices are fantastic, for a period I had the opportunity to pair them with some Kef LS 50 meta, yes true bookshelf speakers, but guys every time I switched from speaker A to speaker B I was surprised by the difference, Friends surprised every time. Even in this purchase Audiocostruzioni Top, very well reported that the speakers were not in the store but were being handled directly by the supplier. Consequently, unlike the amplifier, they did not arrive the next day, but within 3 days they were in my living room. Congratulations Aidiocostruzioni
