About the brand

NorStone is a French brand of hi-fi and home theater furniture and stands, established over twenty years ago. Its catalog includes electronics racks, TV stands, speaker stands, vinyl accessories, and cables, and the brand claims to be inspired by Dieter Rams's idea of functional design. It doesn't build electronics or speakers: its job is to provide the system with a stable and tidy foundation.
The Bergen 2 is a four-shelf glass rack with spikes and a load capacity of approximately 40 kg per shelf; the top shelf is designed for a turntable. The Esse HiFi has a powder-coated steel frame and tempered glass shelves: 40 kg on the top shelf and 20 kg on the middle ones, in a footprint of 57 by 40 cm. The Esse AV is the largest version of the same series, designed for televisions and home theater electronics. The Stabbl HiFi is the top-tier rack: each shelf is decoupled from the frame and can hold up to 50 kg.
The Stylum stands are made of steel, with adjustable spikes and internal cable routing; the Stylum 2 columns can be reempire sand or grit to increase mass. There are two solutions for records. The Vinyl LP R, made of acrylic and bamboo, holds up to 60 LPs in five compartments and fits into standard modular cube shelves. For a rack, weight is the first thing that matters: a heavy power amp goes on the shelf with the greatest load capacity, and the turntable goes on the top one, which is the easiest to level and use.
