About the brand

Italian high fidelity since 1995

Audio Analogue is an Italian hi-fi electronics manufacturer based in Monsummano Terme, in the province of Pistoia. The idea for the first product took shape in 1995, and in January 1996, the brand made its name at the CES in Las Vegas with the prototype of a 40-watt integrated amplifier, the Puccini, which went into production in mid-1996. The actual first product was actually a converter, the Vivaldi, of which only 25 were built.

In the following years, the catalog expanded rapidly: the Puccini SE in 1997, the Bellini preamplifier and Donizetti power amplifier in 1998, the Paganini CD player in 1999, and finally the Maestro integrated amplifier in 2001, marking the brand's decisive move toward the high-end market. The names of Italian composers have become a recognizable signature of the brand. Audio Analogue is part of AF Group.

Airtech, Anniversary and PureAA

In 2013 the co-founder Claudio Bertini created Airtech, a laboratory and brand from which today cables, speakers and the most ambitious projects are born Audio AnalogueThe first fruit of this collaboration was the 2015 Puccini Anniversary, created to celebrate the first twenty years of activity: it is the brand's first amplifier with Zero Feedback circuitry, i.e. without global counter-reaction, a choice that makes it less sensitive to the speaker load.

The Anniversary line draws on the concepts of historic devices with Airtech technology; above it is the ABsolute line, while the PureAA recalls the construction simplicity of the first models while focusing on the best performance/price ratio. The AAcento was the first PureAA product: integrated without global feedback in both the pre and power stages, with a MM/MC phono stage and a Class A headphone output. The brand also includes BCD, dedicated to cables and accessories.
