Description

Il Dynaudio Contour 3.4 It is a two-way floorstanding speaker that represents the excellence of Danish acoustic engineering. With a sensitivity of 88 dB (2,83V/1m) and a continuous IEC power handling of 300 W, offers a powerful and detailed sound, capable of reempire large domestic environments. The frequency response extends from 35 to 25.000 Hz (+/-3 dB), ensuring a faithful and natural reproduction of all sound ranges. The nominal impedance is 4 ohm, making it compatible with a wide range of amplifiers.

The innovative cabinet, constructed from 2cm MDF and internally braced, is designed to minimize unwanted vibrations and resonances. The front panel features a thick, contoured metal sheet bonded to a layer of rubber, creating a sandwich structure that effectively isolates the speakers from internal vibrations. The sturdy base features top-adjustable spikes, allowing for ideal positioning without damaging the floor.

Equipped with two 17 cm polypropylene cone mid-woofers with a long-throw 75 mm voice coil, the Contour 3.4 delivers deep, controlled bass. The 28 mm Esotec soft dome tweeter , derived from the prestigious Esotar series, delivers crystal-clear, detailed highs. The high-quality crossover, strategically placed to reduce interference, contributes to the speaker's coherence and tonal balance.

Weighing 33 kg and measuring 190 x 1.220 x 340 mm (W x H x D), the Contour 3.4 is available in elegant maple and rosewood finishes , blending harmoniously into any environment. The sleek, refined design is not only aesthetic but also functional, improving sound dispersion and structural stability.

This speaker is extremely versatile and is suitable for both tube and solid-state amplifiers. Its ease of placement and low listening fatigue make it ideal for discerning audiophiles seeking uncompromising, high-quality sound reproduction. Thanks to its meticulous construction and the use of high-quality proprietary components, the Dynaudio Contour 3.4 offers an immersive and authentic listening experience, embodying the passion for research and innovation that has always distinguished the Dynaudio brand.
