GRADIENT FIVE

Gradient Five is the result of years of research. The coaxial driver technology developed by Gradient and SEAS of Norway combined with passive radiator manufactured exclusively for Gradient have made it possible to manufacture a compact 2-way loudspeaker of the highest quality. Gradient Five has a modern Scandinavian design, combination of traditional craftsmanship, real wood and new smart materials

TAILORED FREQUENCY RESPONSE

The sound balance of Gradient Five is based on long term listening tests and measurements. The on axis frequency response and the power response curves are optimized to give a balanced, airy and easy-to-listen sound. The passive radiator, designed by Gradient is situated in the rear wall of the loudspeaker enclosure. It extends the bass response at the lowest frequencies, without the common disadvantages of vented box designs. Gradient Five will delight the listener with a clean, open sound stage and true to life bass impact.

POINT SOURCE

The one point source driver, as used in the Gradient flagship loudspeaker, Revolution, is very special. It was developed by Gradient and SEAS of Norway and exhibits controlled dispersion patterns, allied to an ultra smooth spectral balance, in a wide listening area. The trademarks of this design are, pinpoint sound staging with exceptional depth and width.

EASY POSITIONING

The cabinet of eight litres, is very easy to position. It can be placed in horizontal or vertical position. Best results are achieved on good quality stands, even close to a back wall. Excellent results can also be attained with Gradient Five fixed on wall brackets, or on a bookshelf.
